I don't even have an office, so yes, you could say that I telecommute. BTW, when are they going to update this word to "web-commute" or something? It's not really about the telephone anymore.

I think "tele" as a root means "from afar", so "telecommute" makes no sense (commute from afar). Probably a better word would be "telework" or something like that.
