Even if this were true, does it really matter!!! Hey before the GOVERMENT OF ROME ISSUED MARRIAGE, THERE WERE MANY OUT OF WEDLOCK PARRENTS!!!!! Please marriage is government run and is not a decree in the Bible. It does say to obey the law of the land, pay what is owed to Caesar etc!!! (There are exceptions of course!!!) That's not to say it is not a good idea to make a public statement before God and family/friends. I did it and I'm very proud of it!!!

05/14/2008		If you look into Roman history you will see that Rome issued marriage and a marriage tax. This is according to my History teacher!!! Now it may have started earlier but one of the first goverments that made it a mandate or standard for us was Rome. (I think you know were I'm coming from!)
