I have a year and a half female Bullmastiff, (Bella) 117 pounds ....We have been thru the gament on dog food issue's!! It all started with the dog food scare she was a part of that, so for her first year and 3 months she was getting homemade food instead of canned with a kibble. She developed "the itchy's" and thats when I started to try every dry food that was made ( several months back). I have had her on the EVO red meat dry for about month and a half and she still gets her Halo spots stew or a all organic 100% chicken or turkey as a topper. She has had VERY bad gas since on the EVO and the itchys are still bothering her, her stools are black which was scary at first and they smell bad. I have researched so many foods and only want natural/organic/holistic stuff going in her. A few of the post mentioned the ash content, Now of course Im concerned about that !! She gets a cup and a half with a wet topper in the morning and the same at night, with a 1 or 2 times a week breakfast of scrambled eggs, plain yogurt, blueberries with the kibble. She is not very active for the most part is a couch potato She thinks she is a lap dog! Would love to hear more feed back from others that have large breed dogs and how they are doing on it!!
