To me this shouldn't even be an issue.

Gays and lesbians marrying has zero effect on my personal life, so why should I care if they decide they want to do so?

I ask those against it the same question on a regular basis.

How does gay marriage effect your life?

The funny thing is that I never get a halfway decent answer out of them.

This is the year 2008 and everyone deserves the right to love and to show the ultimate commitment to such... by being married.
