worked fine for 2 1/2 years then motor went out. I have NEVER had a dryer go bad in this short period of time. I had a GE that lasted 10+ years, Kenmore, ditto; Whirlpool 8. I wish I had never tried Hotpoint and won't replace this one with another Hotpoint!
