Gay Marriage

reviewed by HondaRider91

On November 18, 2003, The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court ruled that gay couples are legally entitled to get married under the state's constitution, overturning a ban on same-sex marriage. President Bush has spoken out against gay marriage, and the issue figures to be important in the 2004 presidential election.

Gay Marriage 1

OK, gays and lesbians can be "joined" or have their own ceremonies, why do they have to be "Married"? Marriage has always been between man and woman, why are the gays/lesbians pushing the limit? Why can't they have their own little wedding and be satisfied - that way they would not be making people mad.

Excellent question. (1) a marriage provides legal rights to a spouse concerning decisions (2) money/property issues- my wife gets everything if I'm hit by a bus- there is no 'issue'. . .gays want the same legal standing because (besides the morality of it) it's a good and clarifying legal decision.

HondaRider, the purpose and goal is the destruction of the institution of marriage. Gays and lesbian don't want to be equal to everybody else (even as under the constitution, they have the same rights and privileges), they want to get our country to bend backwards for them as another step toward the destruction of civilization. As a Christian, I know well who is behind all this and he will use the most bizarre arguments to bring us down as a nation. In a sense, it's like the Islam, they don't want peace, they want domination.

Very good points, CanadaSucks, and yes I believe you to Imorovan, that seems the likely path.
