Is this the #1 smear we can expect from Republican wingnut propagandists? Why are they not satisfied with pointing out the genuine defects of this typical Chicago politician?

Today I heard [from a local businessman] the theory that Obama is a secret Islamist, sworn to destroy Christianity and the Jews. I'm afraid this nonsense may have an audience beyond just a few nuts.

05/19/2008		Well, I was just looking at some of the comments on a recent Jerry Lee Lewis video, and one commentator replied to somebody [who'd disparaged Jerry Lee because of his age], "So we might as well kill the elderly then." This obviously sarcastic remark was then taken seriously by an irate fan who suffered from a lack of sarcasm receptors.
