Put up good regular season numbers coming off the bench, where he averaged 10 points and 7 rebounds per game in just 22 minutes per game, however he did not fit in well chemistry wise with the club and had disasterous WCF series against the Houston Rockets (which Lakers lost 4 games to 1), including game 4 where he went scoreless but commited five personal fouls and game five where he is remembered for blowing dunk on fast brea (although that certainly wasn't only reason club lost that game). Club decided not to bring him back as they wanted to give more minutes to AC Green, which proved to be a wise choice.
