Diverse grab bag of interesting tunes- whoever chose songs for this knows music...excellent choices, such as the 13th Floor Elevators and Love, among others....

I don't know if the book's author, Nick Hornby, was involved in the soundtrack development, but all of his books are so packed with musical reference and inspiration, that you can almost hear them.

i've heard of him but haven't read any of them, should probably check them out.
