Twighlight Zone was probably a one of a kind television experience, a writers anthology served up for a weekly TV audience, freed of the requirements to fit into any kind of formula, setting or cast of recurring characters. Not everything was five stars, but even when they missed the mark, they were noble in their attempt to give the viewer a fresh and provocative experience. After almost 50 years the show still makes for great watching. None of the others on the list are in the same class.
