James Worthy worked as a color commentator for a couple of games during the 1994-95 season and struggled a bit and that was understable since this was his first experience behind the mic and it really showed as when he spoke his voice sounded very choppy...sounding like he was learning to speak a new language. He know does the pre-game and half-time show now for the Lakers on "LTV" for on KCAL 9 in Los Angeles and he does marvelous work now in analyzing games and has excellent segment called "The Worthy Spin" which is breakdown of games similar to that of "NFL matchup" or "NBA matchup". I always make an effort to watch that segement and if I'm taping a game, I always tape that segment
