The rapture is the Sovereign act of God through which believers, both dead and alive, will be caught up in the air, their bodies changed instantly from corruptible to incorruptible, and they shall join Jesus Christ in the air and will be with Him forever after. There are three position out there regarding the time line and frame in which it will happen: 1. Pre tribulation rapture, where the event will occur at the beginning of the seven years of tribulation on earth; 2. The mid tribulation rapture, where the event will happen three and a half year into the tribulation; 3. the post tribulation rapture which will take place at the end of the seven years of tribulation. There are scriptural support for each and every one of these three positions.
