Pit Bull

reviewed by Oo Michelle oO

Pit Bulls are medium to large dogs (30-70 lbs.) classified as Terriers. The American pit bull terrier was developed in the 19th century by crossing Staffordshire bull terriers and an extinct fighting bulldog.

And don't give me that line of crap about how the owners are the problem. If one of these gets hold of someone, the dog doesn't let go until the person stops moving. THAT is the problem.

Need to educate yourself. I've trained hundreds of dogs, never met a mean pit bull. The meanest ones have always been lap dogs. THE MEDIA LIES, THE MEDIA MISINFORMES, newscasters will call many large breed dogs pit bulls if they attack (including boxers which is not even a terrier at all.)Its all about ratings not facts!

Michelle,

You're an idiot. ATTS.ORG. American Pitbull Terrier rates higher than a Golden Retriever. How about that?!?!?!?!?!

I have volunteered at the Nevada Humane Society for years and everyone there loves Pit Bulls. I own two and they are the best dogs ever.

You obviously have not owned a pittie, sounds like your in there w the rest of the people stereotyping them. My mom stereotyped them and was sad when I got a puppy pit, it didnt take long at all for her to COMPETELY change her mind and understand how the media can brainwash people. Look up the studies on dog bites and youll see that those stereotypically 'praised dogs' lash out more than pit bulls do.
