Blue Buffalo Dog Food 3

I wanted to update my opinion on this food. I had said the BB Large Breed Adult had caused major problems (dandruff,hair loss,bumps) well come to find out my dog is allergic to chicken. I took him to an allergist and she put him on Iams KO (Kangaroo and Oatmeal) He cleared up beautifully after about 5 weeks. THen the process is to introduce a specific ingredient (trial food) back into his diet to see if it causes an issue. The chicken was the first trial food and it caused hair loss, bad dandruff and bumps on his skin. So for him the BB is out. I think for some who have posted such as I did saying how bad this food is may want to consider a simple allergy test. My vet also says the chicken allergies are very common.
