He's pretty funny in the ESPN commercials (my favorite Steiner commercial is "Y2K Preparation" in which Charley Steiner has tied his tie around his head and is racing around a burning ESPN studio with a glazed look in his eyes), but there is something grating about him when he actually tries to be a sports reporter. In my opinion, he is definitely not on par with Dan Patrick, Stuart Scott, Rich Eisen, Trey Wingo, or any of the other ESPN heavy weights.
