Born in McComb, Mississippi in 1928, Bo Diddley is one of the undisputed founding fathers of rock & roll music and the popularizer of the world-famous Bo Diddley beat. Often called "The Originator" because of his innovative, custom-built electric guitars, his use of female musicians, his early use of rapping and wild stage shows.
