Les rates tops with me because he is strictly a BIBLE TEACHER. If he chooses to give his opinion, which he is entitled to do on his show, he always tells you thats what it is and to take it for what it's worth. Les is the type of guy who wouldn't care if you disagree, as long as you were getting into your Bible. As far as Arminianism , I have heard him speak specifically on the subject. He doesn't hold to Arminianism or Calvinism (or any other "ism" for that matter).

I am thankful for Les, but I am afraid there are times when he doesn't seperate "what the Book says" from his "opinions". For example, I was listening to one of his tapes from his site, on Galatians I think, where he says, in so many words, that Christian believers, even though they are saved, need to keep confessing their sins in their daily walk, and that is where we actually receive our forgiveness. Les claims it is Paul's epistles that are for our teachings. That the other epistles and the Gospel accounts are for the instruction of Israel. Les, one hand, says that Christ shed his blood for the forgiveness of ALL our sins, and that as believers we stand completely forgiven. That if we needed to still be forgiven for the sins of tomorrow then Christ would have to suffer and die again and again. Then he contradicts this and says that our forgiveness only becomes real when we confess our sins. (And I don't recall Les saying that this is just his opinion.) Which is it Les? We either stand completely forgiven of all our sins past, present and forever, or we still need forgiveness--and if we do we are in big trouble eternally. Granted, Les may have made the above tape in one of his classes ten or fifteen years ago and now no longer teaches this. But if this is true then he should rectify the above erroneous teaching.
