THIS COMPANY IS JUST SHITTY, my wife recently was let go by dillard's because she was honest about something that she had said when asked by the manager if she had said this about the managers leg licking pet who has worked there for 4 months. Most everyone has hit the main things, but there is atleast one more that everyone seamed to forget. Had any of you ever tried to get a holiday off work, or a day around a holiday? I am in the military stationed 800 miles from my family and 800 miles from her family, how in the hell are my wife and i ever supposed to be able to spend any holiday with our family when the idiots that run these stores won't let you off work. How about when they asked my wife if she wanted to move from clothing to cosmetics and she said that she didn't so they moved her anyway. Needless to say a few months later, she gets a pay cut for not making her sph, so all in all, she spent 3 1/2 years working in hell and ended her employment making less than what she started it at. I would rather go back to afghanistan for another 15 months than to see her go through the emotional termoil that she was experiencing within her first couple months of working there. The managers there are complete and total idiots, most of the employee's are full of shit and lie their ass's off. I dont know but it is my best advice that NO ONE EVER WORK FOR THEM. I have a friend whos wife is a manager for them, he has the exact same complaints that I have. He hasnt been home for the holidays in years. The best part of it is that if you are a loud mouthed, ignorant, rude, disrespectful lesbian then most of the managers will love you....  me personally i would rather casterate myself with a dull rusty spoon with no pain medication than work for a slave shop like this.  I know for a fact that any employee that says they are happy working for dillard's would probably have a better chance of suffering from PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) than any of the soldiers coming home from Iraq or Afghanistan.......
