Cox Communications 1

Cox was a very nice company to work witht he first encounter and then what a joke.  They told us we had a 4 hour window to have our internet installed and 5 hours later no one showed up so we got scheduled for the next day they were suppose to be here and noon and guess what they showed up at 5:30 to install our internet.  Glad I just moved here and don't have a job because I would have gotten fired over there BS.  Oh and if you call the "lead"  don't expect a call back because I do believe they have caller ID and know who is calling even after 5 calls.

I was going to sypathize with you on this one except for the last part. The "leads" take more calls then your IQ per day. They are focused on a per call basis and to resolve the issue. If they gave you a number, it is most likely to their extra phone they have on their desk. You call it and it rings to their VM. You leave a message and when they have time, they call you back. So my question is, if they didnt call you back, why didnt you call back in to the main call center, and ask for another "lead?" If I felt like I had been screwed over, then I would have. But to note, I do sympathize with the late install. Im not sure if it was a normal day or if it was a rainy/snowy day. If it wasnt a bad day, then I feel ya.

4 hour windows are a joke. You can't honestly expect anyone in any service business to always be on time. You think a tech can wiggle his nose, and rewire a house in 5 minutes? Don't think so. One bad job will ruin not only his day, but everyone elses. And don't think he is happy about it either.
