Wachovia 1

I realize you're going to see negative aspects from any bank. The fact is just stay above a zero balance. However, Wachovia's policies of organizing my transactions to assist them in charging multiple NSF fees is why I'm switching banks this month. And it's suspicious that when I have plenty of money in my account, the merchant I shop with on almost a daily basis "Publix" the transactions are applied immediately on my account. But once I start to have a low balance around $100 or so, Wachovia puts everything on hold to apply at a later time and blames it on the merchants. In this last case they deducted the holds, and even with that I'm above a zero balance. I make one transaction that overdraws my account so they charge me a NSF fee, and then say the holds are applied after the NSF fees even though they were deducted from my account and charge me NSF fees for that.

actually, i have been with wachovia for over 20 yearz. really i have the SAMN issue with bank of america. i really think all banks are corrupt and use the system for the own financial gain. i wonder if anyone has stood up and said that a 30 dollar plus nsf fee is nothing short of price gouging and taking advantage of peoples situation.... it does not cost that much for the actual admin fees for a bounced trans. i will guarentee that whatever bank you go to, the same problemz will exist, try an independent bank or small credit union instead. much success! xx den NISI
