07/13/2008 | Myonly regret about buying Blue Fish/Sweet Potato kibble is the high cost of the food. However, since it apparently is the only kibble that agrees with him, I will continue to purchase and he is a big boy who eventually will weigh 135 pounds!! My point is to buy a food that agrees with your pet and cease your stressing over ingredients. |

07/13/2008 | All these " experts " rating dog food is a scam beyond measure. Since I know by trial and error my dog is allergic to chicken kibble, if I bought all 6 star rated dog kibble then all the brands would give him diahrrea with blood in stools!! Wake up dog owners before your bank account dissolves at expense of " experts ". |

07/13/2008 | The only reason I buy Blue Fish/Sweet Potato is because it agrees with my dog's digestive system, consequently, he has firm stools. I could care less about the ingredients. The fancy dog manufacturers are laughing all the way to the bank on a weekly basis. |

07/13/2008 | Pet owners get all uptight about ingredients yet do not hesitate to go to McDonald's and eat a Big Mac with fries and a sugary coke!!
If your dog can eat dry kibble and have a firm stool then you got no problems. My neighbor feeds her dogs the worst ( pedigree ) and one dog is now 12 years old!!
You want the firm stool, so dont worry so much about ingredients. |

07/13/2008 | Also, I no longer buy food at Mom and Pop feed stores. Now, I only go to PetSmart. They have mostly poor kibble, but if you look closely enough you can find one or two good brands. They do not ask questions, only give complete refund if your dog has a problem with the kibble. |

07/13/2008 | My dog does not care for Canidae because the kibble made him quite ill along with an expensive vet bill. Additionally, I had to file with BBB for a complete refund from a local " Mom and Pop " store.
Now I want to save many people and pets the agony of what is bad for your dog. My dog through trial and error is allergic to chicken kibble, no matter what brand of dog kibble. I am talking diahrrea, bloody stools and runny water stools.
So, when Blue chicken kibble did not work, I switched him to Blue Fish/Sweet Potato and guess what? Firm stools now!!
Do not waste your money on Vet tests. If your dog has bowel problems switch to a brand that has Fish. You gotta believe that almost all problems related with dog kibble have to do with allergies in your dog, so find a differnt meat product. |
