reviewed by Katrinabena

John McCain is a U.S. Senator from Arizona. He ran for the Republican nomination for President in 2000 but George W. Bush then won the nomination. McCain is a Moderate Republican.

John McCain 4

I am an independent with Democrat leanings, but I have a ton of respect for John McCain. This man has served his country well. He is a war veteran. I don't think either candidate particularly strong this year. McCain hasn't shown he knows much about anything other than the military, but I prefer his agenda over an ultraliberal agenda that will be coming from Obama.

I think many people in the US respect Mr. McCain's military contribution. However there are thousands of men and women that have served in the military and been tortured as prisoners of war. But they don't wear it on their sleeve and use it for politics like McCain has done. I am not sure what "ultraliberal" means. But if Obama takes us away from a war where a few corporations such as Haliburton and Blackwater are making billions off of our soldiers. If we can end a war that is literlly distroying our economy making us dependent on China for financing us. And he can end a war that has driven up oil prices beyond reason, then I think Obama deserves a serious review by any voter. I also hope we get away from words like "ultraliberal" and talk about the issues that are destroying the middle class and causing us to lose our jobs.

I think most veterans would appreciate your words, Katrina. There have not been thousands tortured like McCain was, nor were they filmed and used for propaganda.
