He is a liberal 2

His centrist tendencies on a few issues, his relationships with republicans that are a matter of record, and his Christ-loving buddies sure make his definition of a 'liberal' seem quite humorous to those with a brain and anyone who has actually spent time outside of America.  It seems that anyone who isn't some kind of  a hawk these days is called a liberal.  What passes for 'liberal' here evokes laughter from many other first-world nations.  I'd sure hate to interrupt a domestic labelling party but the facts are quite inconvenient.  Get a clue.  And a passport.

Good to see 'sucks isn't in the tank for Obama, just people with passports. I agree, you wanna see some liberals, whew, go to Europe! We all hate labels but Obama out-leftied Hillary, and in this country, that usually earns you the label of "liberal. " Centrist tendencies, huh? Where did these tendencies toward centrism manifest themselves? And imagine me not noticing them.

His stance on civil unions- instead of 'gay marriage' - makes any true liberal cringe. That doesn't sit well with real or American-imagined liberals. His ties to a goofy-church also does not sit well with a faction from the left. Imagine that- something you missed in your rush to identify him! Hate Dumbo for his retarded remarks regarding Pakistan. But the liberal label simply doesn't match the picture as a whole. Two plus two does not equal five.

Oh, I see, backing off on "gay marriage" (knowing that no national candidate favoring "gay marriage" could ever win an election) and joining a black church that preaches the overthrow of the american government makes him a centrist. Anybody outside of intellectual la-la land sees the expediency of those two minor stances. One plus one also doesn't equal a thousand. Or a hundred thousand. Throw in his nuanced stance on the 2nd amendment and there is nothing but political expediency moving him an iota toward centrism. The truth of his voting records will continue to be stubborn for him. Lefties attempting to offer him political cover need more than a piece of nose tissue or a fig leaf to obfuscate his ideology.

Oh, and he supports the 2nd Amendment (real liberal there) and has supported the death penalty in some cases. (Some liberal) and wants some faith-based institutions to help with some social services. . .two plus two still doesn't equal five, chief.
