Now that such a strong majority has voted in this President, I hope that the fiction that FOX News, Hannity and Limbaugh spout will begin to be tempered by truth and reality. A majority of people in the U.S. want the hate speech, half truth and factual lies to stop. Why is that so many people on the right claim that they are religious and defending Christianity while using lies and violent language? Is this the Jesus they defend? Does the right believe in a Jesus who lies to defend political causes or the Jesus that preached the sermon on the mount and the Jesus that said "What belongs to Cesaer is Cesare's and what belongs to God to God?" I hope that the people on this site will now stop believing in myths about Obama is a muslim and not born here, is a socalist..(we just came from one of the most socialistic 8 years where Bush gave to the rich all kinds of social welfare benefits while kicking the working class to the ground). I hope that the rightists on this site will now begin to read the truth and work together for all of us to move ahead and get our jobs back on track and our international standards of fairness, ethics and a politics of opportunity for everone. The nightmare of these neo-conservative facists is over. Democracy has won. A man of the people has one. I hope we can heal from the politics of hate and fear so we can all grow strong together again.

funny how you wait until now to make any comments. Not sure of your decision??? Oh just uneducated on the issues. What we have to look forward to at this point is fear, Dont you see it as kind of strange that the whole world is cheering that Obama won, Scares me. They are not cheering because they like Obama, NO ONE knows him, how long has he been around government? 2 years and that is being generous, No sir they are cheering because they know how vulnerable we are now because Mr. Obama is CLUELESS!!

Please read over what the man has done and achieved. I don't know your source of information but a recent post will give you his professional background. I don't think that a politics of fear is what has made this country great. Fear makes us small minded and pre-judge situations without knowing facts. A fearful life is the myth that the Bush administration and the Republican party has lived on for the past 8 years and has destroyed our economy, our reputation for honesty in the world and our respect for other countries. Look at our U.S. history, it is not fear that led us to be strong, it is planning, diplomacy and knowing our enemies by talking to them. The cold war with Russia ended by Ronald Regan doing strong things and talking with Russia. Please look at Mr. Bush, that is a clueless man that cannot even get in front of a micorphone and give a simple speech with real facts. I hope you can overcome your fear and read about the very honorable man that is our new president.
