Bombardier Outlander MAX 400H.O. 1

Outlander Max has a problem with the voltage regulator and battery. My low mileage Max failed right after the warranty period and BRP wouldn't cover the repair. Nothing like a twenty mile walk out of the bush. Never buy an outlander unless you like to hike.

I agree. I only have 3000 km's on mine and had to replace the voltage regulator twice. Each time, it fried the battery, blew the lights, etc. I am a guide and each time was stuck in the woods with a hunter. It was a long walk back and expensive to fix. Apparently there was a problem with the regulator but never a recall. The max might have a great ride but it is junk and I certainly won't recommend that any of my "sports" buy one!!!! The company obviously doesn't care about customer relations!!
