Bowl Championship Series (BCS) (College Football)

reviewed by CougarFan

The Bowl Championship Series (BCS) is a computer based rankings system that determines the national ranking of Division I college football programs. The BCS rankings determine which teams play for the national championship. Issues arise when the BCS rankings are different from the the UPI and/or AP rankings.

Based on your review, I don't think you get it. All of the bowl games aren't part of the BCS. The BCS is the Fiesta Bowl, Orange Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Rose Bowl, and the new Championship Game. If those non-BCS schools want to get in the mix, first, they need to take care of their own business and win, and maybe make their case to BCS conferences to realign by being great for a long period of time. Those aren't "sexy teams". By that I mean the non-BCS schools don't make the money that the big schools do. The Mountain West is not that great, I don't get what you are saying there.
