The person jumping in front of the train was a tragedy-- if it's the same incident that I remember, when my Wilmington DE to Wash DC train was delayed for four hours and the announcer on the station intercom at Wilmington was practically in tears over that unfortunate incident (an 18 yr old student, who was sobbing uncontrollaby, had leapt in front of the train in NJ as it passed thru the station); there's nothing we can do about that-- except maybe be kinder to the next person you meet -- cuz you knever know what they might be going thru at that moment-- a kind word can be a lifesaver)

As for the rest of your complaint-- yes totally agree with you.
