i am an officer in the coast guard, and let me say this: this service sucks. the academy sucked, the people suck. a bunch of back stabbing rejects. the concept of "helping people" in the coast guard is a foreign one. i would rather work at mc donalds, where at least i would get some respect.

It took an act of congress to make you a gentleman, but clearly your character could not be improved. Get a spine and quit you cowardly, hypocrite. I bet you don't got out on the weather decks at night. Smart move! After a few weeks at McD's, no one would respect you there either. It is something that is earned, not commanded - a concept CLEARLY above your pay grade.
