Polaris Sportsman 400/500/600/700 2

I ride a polaris sportsman 500 and am constantly having problems with it. Everytime it gets on steep terrain the tires skid and miss and the rear tries to come around. I have tried numerous different methods of fixing this (keeping some throttle on, different combinations of braking, and all of the above together). Never the less anytime I get on a steep hill, I ready myself to jump off the thing because you have no control of it especially if it is rocky. The turning radius is also horrible, and the reverse override button has to be used ANYTIME there is even a piece of gravel under the tire. The one advantage it does have is it beats having to walk miles and miles (sometimes).

sounds like you might have too much air in your tires.
