The comments by this author come from ignorance. Some of what is stated is true. Jim's shop is not a showplace and yes he does let some of the birds fly free.; however, all the animals are well cared for. I have found Jim to be the most knowledgeable person in Memphis when it comes to birds. He is a caring individual. I have known him to pick up sick and injured bids from the highways when everybody else drives by. He does all he can to save the bird, and if it becomes apparent he cannot he has it humanely euthanized. How do I know all this, I own the veterinary hospital right next door to his shop, and I have known Jim for 22 years. Whoever wrote the review that prompted me to write this should be ashamed. Before you attack with your pen you should try to get to know the individual and their business. Again I think you probably meant well and are just ignorant.
