I never enjoyed the SNL years with Will Ferrell. I've avoided his movies for the most part also. The movie "Elf" was very funny and the one about the weird ice skaters was pretty good too.

Despite the generally shared asessment, 'Stranger Than Fiction' (2006), with Ferrell as Harold Crick and, surprisingly, 'Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby' (2006), as the title character, are very rewarding.
