Pit Bulls are medium to large dogs (30-70 lbs.) classified as Terriers. The American pit bull terrier was developed in the 19th century by crossing Staffordshire bull terriers and an extinct fighting bulldog.

Pit Bull 5

My red nosed pit bull has to be the best breed of dog that I've ever known. He's protective, loving, not aggressive. I'm so sick of people giving them a bad name.  He has just fathered seven pups with my female Staffordshire Bull Terrier or "Staffy".

I hope you do a tremendous job of sceening potential puppy owners. If you brought these pups into the world and don't do everything you can to keep them out of the hands of "bad owners," you bear some responsibility for any bad consequences. A good breeder feel responsible for every puppy the breed for it's entire life.
