what a nightmare! the flight i paid for was delayed for 4 hours due to mechanical troubles, not weather. then the next connecting flight got me to my destination at 11:30 pm. they would not comp me a hotel and there were no rooms available anywhere near. the only other option was to take a taxi for 80miles to my friends house in the middle of the night. thinking that it could not get any worse, my bags were lost somewhere along the way. it's been 3 days now and i am without clean cloths or my hard drive which contained everything i needed for my work related trip. the woman in charge at the lost baggage counter could not have been less helpful and could barely speak english. at this point i almost feel embarrassed for them.
TIP: you get what you pay for. in my case though, i also lost about $2000 on top the charge for a less than par experience.
i am sure that once in a blue moon they arrive on time with everyones baggage, i have yet to have that luxury.
(the last time i flew frontier i was 2 hrs late and my bags were lost as well. they were delivered the next morning, this time it seems more permanent.)
