Otis Redding

Born in 1941, Otis Redding released his first CD, "Pain in My Heart," in 1964. Some of his most popular songs include "(Sittin' On) the Dock of the Bay," "Respect" and "Tramp." Redding died in a plane crash in 1967.

Sittin on the Dock of The Bay didn't get enough attention....and I know it got LOTS...but it should have been the quintessential single released for makin sweet looooove....:o)
