I actually like this pick. McCain did well on this, but the question is whether disaffected Hillary supporters will flock to the Republican side. My gut instinct tells me a sizable amount might (and that is "might" like as in "if"), but it depends on how she does next week under the scrutiny of a blood-thirsty press and voters who still have no idea who she is. But overall, a maverick pick by a maverick politician.
