That is a brilliant way to strengthen the atheist thinking. You're argument exceeds the context of the subject at hand and implies that atheism means one believes in nothing. This cannot be farther from reality. I believe in lots of stuff, just not stuff that isn't supported by some reproducible, verifiable evidence.
