Good for you!!!!! I worked for them. I went from selling GIA certified diamonds to selling CRAPPY diamonds at there stores. It is incredible, yet sad on how the employees are trained to tell you what you want to hear. It is very hard for me to lie, so I would TRULY send them to the nicest pieces (if any) that the store had. I wouldn't care if it were MUCH less than what they planned on spending. Commission was not my goal, selling them the best the store had to offer.

thanks for the information on Kay's . I am a bit surprised you gave Kay's a five. I could never afford to go there anyway.

This info is indeed false. Kays has a 90day return/extange policy.

I am so sorry for your loss on your diamond.
First, you have the right to choose a diamond because of there negligence.
If they were not so cheap, they would have an "in store" repair department and they would not need to send out your jewelry.

Just FYI, almost every jewelry chain store is ALL owned by the same company. Exception, Helzberg.

There have been a lot of posters since my last post about the company. WOW, Sterling Inc. really needs to get there act together and stop buying cheap jewelry to resell.

Before going into the stores, I want you to remember this. And pass it on to anyone shopping for a nice piece of jewelry.
DO NOT let them fool you. EVERY single thing they sell, the SALESREPS get a commission. Even WATCH BATTERIES.

The warranties..... expensive and not worth it.

The credit applications, DONT do it~ 29% interest.

There employees........... Here is a funny one. They normally hire CAR SALESMEN, because they can "walk the walk & talk the talk".
They know diamonds like I know brain surgery.
They hire anyone that can sell there JUNK.
I learned in a short amount of time, "say what they want you to say & make that sale~"~~!!!!!!

As for there return policy. You have 90 days on regular merchandise. But they do also have a "BROKEN ENGAGEMENT POLICY". Please read your paperwork. YOU HAVE ONE YEAR FOR IT~!

Best option... Find an INDEPENDENT jeweler OR ONLINE vendors. There are SOME VERY PROFESSIONAL JEWELERS online today. AMAZING PIECES, for LESS than RETAIL. And they stand behind there merchandise (NOT EBAY).
