Match.com 1

A guy I know, serious personality disorder gets a new woman on Match.com before the last one he got finds out he's a con artist, liar, manipulator and knowing spreader of veneral disease. Match.com has been his hunting ground for victims for years and he has successfully conned about 10 women finding them on match.com. Lies about his age by 10 years and wants women who earn good salary. Check him out. He goes by M*TAK**TIC for years on Match.com.  I changed my post as suggested by the match.com police who blog this site, but I feel it's a civc duty to warn other women that when discoveries like this are made on dating sites. As manys experts will tell you, can be a very dangerous place to display your personal interests and preferences to potential predators like this one.

People like that are found on all the different online dating sites, not just Match. Look on the sites of Match and others to see their safe-dating tips warning about things like that. There's no way any of these sites can do background checks on every subscriber for the kind of money they charge. It would cost thousands per subscriber to do that. All they can do is investigate if and when a problem subscriber is reported to them, and kick the person off their site if their investigation warrants it. It's good to warn potential or current subscribers about this kind of immoral activity, but don't lay it all on Match when it's an industry-wide problem. I hope you or a Match subscriber has reported this person to them. I see that he's still a subscriber, so maybe nobody has reported him. I can't, since I have no personal knowledge as to whether what you say about him is true or not true, so it will take someone with personal knowledge about him to report any such problems. By the way, while it's safe to identify problematical subscribers to Match or whatever online dating site it is, be very cautious about making these kind of serious allegations on a publicly accessible site like this one if you specifically identify someone, as you have done. If you want to know why, contact me by means of a private message.

I'm not the Match.com police, just a regular reviewer who is curious about what other reviewers say about Match, since I have used it for quite a while. You didn't say, but I hope you have reported this guy directly to Match.com. Use his username in your complaint to them. The only reason I cautioned you about using his name here is that he could possibly file a slander suit against you if he was so inclined (not likely though). Truth is a defense to such a suit, but why risk any legal problems.
