For all those that love what Merrick stands for, but have pups with grain allergies, I highly recommend the Before Grain product by Merrick.  This is their new line of grain free foods and my dog has never shed so little (including when she was on Orijen, EVO, TOTW and any other brand).   She loves both the buffalo and tuna flavors, have yet to try her on the chicken. 

Just a suggestion for those out there.  Unfortunately, I added BG, but someone got upset when it was ranked #1 over Orijen and purposely gave it a bad rating for no reason.  Talk to  your local pet food carrier and see if they carry it.  All my local stores are now suggesting this over EVO due to the low Ash content and lower protein levels for those dogs not in trials or super, super active.
