Burton

Burtons are good if you live on the east coast or just ride park or groomers. If you like big mountain riding they suck. They are expensive and have no durability. I spent one season riding burton customs and they kept snapping. They would get all these hairline cracks in the top sheet, get all noodely then delam and snap. I will say they replaced everyone for free but I spent a lot of time sending boards back and waiting. If you hit a rock with your burton forget about it, the bases are so soft you'll tear right through into your core. A small chunk of base on neversummer could easily be a board retiring coreshot on a burton. I will say I like there boots and bindings since they got the duribility issues worked out on the c60 highbacks, that kept snapping over and over again. Either way don't be fooled by the hype go to any big mountain west coast resort and I promise none of the locals will be riding burtons. Burton claims to be a down to earth rider owned company, but shit they make gay ass luggage and have more clothes than gear in their catalog. Buy from a company that hasn't lost sight of snowboarding all the gapers will still buy this overpriced crap.
