Colorado Technical University Online 1

This school is a joke. My aunt "earned" a Bachelors Degree from this place in 2 years - while it takes 4 years for most traditional schools. She was given an A in every class even when she didn't know the material. She constantly asked me to help her in her "College Math" course (yes that is the CTU title) and it was the level of work I did in eighth grade. She barely understood the material and still got an A - what a joke. This school is a diploma mill that will give anyone a good GPA and degree that pays. A 4 year degree in 2 sounds too good to be true and it is. Also, those credits will never transfer to a real school like a UC, because CTU is not accredited by WASC, which accredidates Community colleges, universities, and Senior Colleges (what schools like Stanford, University of Colorado, etc have). They are "regionally accredited" by the Higher Learning Commisiion which is what trade schools have - basically the same time of education as a plumber or car mechanic. I would NEVER hire anyone from one of these schools because I know they have purchased their education, not worked for it.

I hate to tell you that my niece who is considered a genius graduated from Duke University in 3 years. So you can't argue the fact that a college degree can't be earned in 2 years if you have enough college credit. Of course CTU isn't accredited by WASC but NCA. WASC is for western schools like in California, Oregon etc. It's not for the rocky mountain type colleges, duh! I hate to tell you that I have worked my ass off @ CTU and now I am working for the government making $80K a year. So before you judge, why don't you do your research more thoroughly! Stop whining about your aunt's education and try getting one yourself!
