Scriptures to Support Mandatory Tithing is no longer required because Christ has fulfilled all Laws and requirements of the law by His death on the Cross: Giving to support the Church should be automatic in light of all that Christ has freely given. Giving should be our private act of worship without a mandatory set amount but by the leading of the Holy Spirit. The Church is not a building any longer but people in-which Gods Holy Spirit resides.

We are now under grace (this word means unearned favor) Our position in Christ is what entitles & qualifies us for Gods favor & all blessings.
Also Tithe promoters often use Abraham who tithed to Melchizedek, a representation of Christ before the tithe law of Moses was given. Failing to mention that it was only ONCE as in one time does not qualify as the Practice of tithing because it was not ongoing. Do they preach that you are a faithful tithe payer by tithing one time only? No way! Wake up! They are twisting Scriptures out of context!

Read Galatians and see how the Apostle Paul despised that law keeping circumcision crowd who tried to teach going backward by keeping old Testament laws instead of accepting the free grace of God. Funny how the one & only Old Testament law that they want you to keep is the money one. Did you know the Tithe was food, spices & included was an Offering of bulls, rams & goats in order to be blessed & to keep Gods laws to perfection. Have you bought a bull or goat lately as your blood sacrifice?? If not, then you have partially kept the command.
WAKE UP PEOPLE!!! Jesus fulfilled the law for you. Remember that word "IT IS FINISHED" at the Cross?
It is supposed to mean paid in full but you never have a zero balance because they keep harping on paying that ten percent amount from your gross( not net) or its not a perfect tithe. Some people just might have wanted to freely give without being pressured & manipulated into it.

The Tithe promoters have now replaced the Circumcision Promoters of The Apostle Paul day. Same devil behind it all with a different package. It still adds up to your performance, versus what Christ did on the cross which includes free favor. To love Him will cause us to give our money to support His work. But giving & being commanded to pay God is two separate things. Prayerfully ponder the following Scriptures and look them up for yourselves.

Colossians 2:14 "Blotting out the handwriting of Ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.

Pay careful attention to the words Abolish & "ORDINANCE (some translations use the word requirements ) this is the same word in Malachi 3:7)

Ephesians 2:15 "Having abolished in his flesh the enmity even the law of commandments contained in ordinances for to make in himself of twain one new man so making peace".
(Again notice the word Abolish & ORDINANCE (Requirements)

Galatians 3:13 For Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law and was made a curse for us.

Acts 15:10 "So then why do you now want to put God to the test by laying a load on the backs of the believers which neither our ancestors nor we ourselves were able to carry?"

Acts 15:19 " We should not trouble the Gentiles who are turning to God.

Acts 15: 28 "The Holy Spirit and we (the Apostles) have agreed not to put any burdens on you beside these necessary rules (instructions were given With-Out commanding the Tithe)

2nd Corinthians 9:7 "Each one should give then as he has DECIDED, not with regret or out of a sense of duty, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Notice no certain amount was given, it is left up to you to decide.

Acts 20:33: You yourselves know that I (Apostle Paul to the Gentiles) have now wanted anyone's gold, silver or clothing. You yourselves know that I have worked with these hands for everything that my companions and I have needed.

1Thessalonians 2:9 "Surely you remember our brothers (Gentiles) how we worked and toiled!
We worked day and night so that we would not be any trouble to you as we preached to you the Good News from God."


Wow how things have changed since The Apostle Paul established the early Church!
