well my first question would be how gradually did you wean the dogs off their old food to their new food? because the two main reasons they would respond that quickly to it would be 1. they were allergic to an ingredient which was not present in their previous food and 2. because you sent their digestive system haywire because they didn't know how to properly respond to the new stuff because you didn't add it in a little at a time to their old food over a period of weeks.

A food allergy should not cause joint pain, and it was all three dogs that were impacted - two mini schnauzers and a weim. Also, "sending their digestive systems haywire" shouldn't have caused joint problems. None of the dogs ever had such a violent reaction to a food before. My oldest dog didn't do well eating Nutro Max but even then he had severely dry skin - no joint pain, no vomiting blood, no diarrhea. I cannot believe that anyone would blame ME for this. These aren't my first dogs, and this isn't my first time changing their food. The biggest mistake I made was purchasing this sub-standard food after thinking that the ingredients didn't look bad. I'll never purchase another food unless I am 100% sure I know what all the ingredients are again. And almost a year later all three dogs are doing great after I changed their food twice more since this incident.
