This is what Blacks have been dealing with for over 200 years in America, a standard that is not double or triple, it is astronomical! Why not give Obama an even break and stop being so negative. yavon, that is the first comment i have read that you have written that makes sense. I agree that we have to support our leader no matter what. I dont agree with the choice and to be honest and very scared of our future. He is the man for the job because of his celbrity and the main stream media made him look like he may know what he is doing. I hate to break it to you but this is going to be a scarey 4 years. The rest of the world is celebrating not because they like Obama but because they know he isnt strong enough mentally or well, just as a person to keep us safe from them. Slocke, I can tell from your patronizing comment that you don't recognize you're prejudiced about skin color, nor are you able to feel empathy for anyone else. You appear to be typically and overly self-centered, like most people who are prejudiced. Also, "I hate to break it to you but this is going to be a scary 4 years," regardless of who was elected President. Bush and his neo-con advisors got us into a hole that anyone would have great difficulty getting us out of, but I have more confidence in Obama's ability to do so than anyone else who was running.
