First blaming Reagan for the present financial problems is like blaming the easter bunny because you got sucky christmas gifts! Second the communist terrorists in south america were born during Carters administration not reagans and reagan actual began to bring a halt to their activites. Third the homeless population skyrocketed because of the laws passed by liberals that made it harder to commit or hold mental ill people (who made up a vast majority of the homeless in the 80s). Keep trying to rewrite history and people like Victor will continue to throw it back in your face!

wow. you truly are hopeless. thank god you'll soon be in the minority. but lets get something straight here. the sandinistas were not communist terrorists, they were local folks who finally, and rightfully, had gotten rid of a ruthless dictator named Anastasio Somoza. the communist terrorists i was refering to were the contras, a band of mercenaries, many of them not even local, completely financed by the CIA in order to re-establish the status quo, which benefited US interests. as for reagan and the homeless plight, i'd advice you to do some research. you can start with this: http://www.nhi.org/online/issues/135/reagan.html

of course they do, victor. i was just correcting a specific error: the contras, while being obvious terrorists, were not commies. btw, count me in as a fellow capitalist. i do, however, feel that reagan, while being a very likeable guy, ended up doing much more harm than good. that's all
