For several years, I have been one of RCN's greatest advocates. Everything has been on time, on budget, and done to my satisfaction.
But now they have changed. After signing a two year agreement with provisions that saved me money, they changed the service agreement and now services that were once part of my bundle are being sold as "premium" for an additional cost. It is a catch-22. They say I was given those as a courtesy in the past, but no more. If I want to change my plan to off-set the cost of the "premium" services, then they say I change the contract terms, so I pay a big penalty. Apparently, they can change the terms of the contract without notice, but I cannot. I now feel betrayed and trapped. As soon as I find an adequate service to replace them, I will do so. I do not feel I can trust them anymore.
