Kirkland Super Premium Chicken and Rice 5

We are getting a new puppy! We had two previous dogs, whom we fed presidents choice adult formula to, guess what NO problems, they were both 14 years old when they passed away, not bad for White Shepperd/Husky and Chow/Husky....oh and I must mention they never went to the vet once! I think there's too many people trying to overthink everything! Stick with a food for a month and then re-evalutate!
Compared to expensive brands, ingredients look superior! DONT BE FOOLED BY MARKETING!!!TRENDY's OUT!!!

It's usually the low quality brands that try to fool people with marketiing. If they spent as much money on their food as they spent on advertising, they would have a much better product. The sob-story, emotional commercials are to sell it to humans, the kibble full of red dyes are to appeal to HUMANS. It's all clever marketing. High quality brands don't need to spend money to advertise, it gets popular enough through word of mouth, and they are able to put all their money into the product.

Yes, ignore commercials and prices (I'm looking at you, Fancy Feast!) and look at the ingredients! Avoid by-products, corn, wheat, and unspecified "meat" or "animal". Look for whole meats, fruits and veggies, and fish/flaxseed oils. Perty good rule of thumb.
