I gained a lot of respect for him when I saw his testimony before congress as a young man who had just returned from Vietnam. What he did that day may not have been very popular, but it was very courageous. He will make an important contribution in the Obama cabinet.

His treasonous testimony before the Senate EARNED your respect? It was enormously popular with the press and liberal elite at the time and during his recent debacle of a run for the presidency.
