Honda Rubicon 5

I have an 08 rubicon cte and i beat the crap out of it all the time and it takes it. I had no problem with the stock tires ( actually very good in snow) Ive buried the bike time after time and managed to work my way out and because of the hydrostatic drive theres no slipping. as for power and clearance its not bad stock, yea its not as high as some but I go everywhere any other bike goes. but a few mods and its unstoppable. K&N filter, hmf exhaust, jet kit, 2" lift 26"itp mud lite xtr. Love the bike will never ride anything else!!!!
see ya in the mud

Hello Mudnut,

I brought my new bike home last weekend, havn't drove it much so far. My initial test drive was at -35deg C, and I found that the bike felt under powerred. Realizing that it's gotta be brocken still and the fact that the temperatures were extremely cold, I want to know if other owners find the bike has enough power or not.

Many thanks,

hey ramondk

Dont worry about the power, the bike really improves after its first service. Just give it some time to break in and i think you will be happy with it. I ride with all sorts of different bikes and it keeps up with all of them with ease. As for the cold temp im not sure how much effect that will have. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. Happy riding!!
