Les Feldick 5

Yahoo! Finally a television evangelist who teaches the Truth from the Bible! My husband and I just started watching Through the Bible and we are thrilled to study along with Les Feldick. My husband have been Grace Believers for years and are always on the lookout for truthful teaching. We found it and recognized his teaching within the first five minutes of his lesson.

Les Feldick does mankind a service to rouse the thinking of God fearing people, however, he is being put on high, and that is not good, because he goes against the Word of God on some issues. In Book 30 LESSON THREE * PART I, Les Feldick writes: It's not that we have to repent, it's not that we have run down some aisle in repentance... And: ---I noticed in my studies of this past week that in all of Paul's letters that we never have to beg God to forgive us of our sins. Think about that. And yet for most people who are putting out the plan of salvation they say, "You have to ask God to forgive you of your sins, you have to repent." Well I can't find any of this in Paul's letter to the Church Age believers. It's not in here... Let all that minister the word of our God, first of all, tell the truth. ---Paul did say and write to the Church age believer: ---(Acts 17:30)---True, God has overlooked the times of such ignorance, yet now he is telling mankind that they should all everywhere repent. ---(Acts 20:21)---But I thoroughly bore witness both to Jews and to Greeks about repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus. ---(Acts 26:20)---but both to those in Damascus first and to those in Jerusalem, and over all the country of Judea, and to the nations I went bringing the message that they should repent and turn to God by doing works that befit repentance. ---(Romans 2:4)---Or do you despise the riches of his kindness and forbearance and long-suffering, because you do not know that the kindly [quality] of God is trying to lead you to repentance? ---(2 Corinthians 7:10)---For sadness in a godly way makes for repentance to salvation that is not to be regretted; but the sadness of the world produces death. ---(2 Timothy 2:23-26)---Further, turn down foolish and ignorant questionings, knowing they produce fights. But a slave of the Lord does not need to fight, but needs to be gentle toward all, qualified to teach, keeping himself restrained under evil, instructing with mildness those not favorably disposed; as perhaps God may give them repentance leading to an accurate knowledge of truth, and they may come back to their proper senses out from the snare of the Devil, seeing that they have been caught alive by him for the will of that one. THEY SOULD REPENTDOING WORKS THAT BEFIT REPENTANCE IT IS IN THERE.

First of all, I am not placing any man on a pedestal. I am appreciative to find a teacher of the Bible who teaches dispensationally. I can study along with him without the confusion that goes along with those who mix the prophetic program with grace. 2Timothy 2:15 says we are to rightly divide the word. You are mixing the prophetic program with grace. Look up Acts 13:46 where Paul was speaking to the Jews and was turned down once again. That's when Paul was told to go to the Gentiles. In the prophetic program, repentence was required because we were under law. We are now in the dispensation of grace. Read Ephesians 2:8-9..It's by grace you are saved, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Repenting is a work. Works were appropriate in the prophetic program. Acts was in the prophetic program. It is for us to know but it does not apply to us. Romans 6:14 says that we are no longer under the law but under grace. Also read Romans 5:13..."but sin is not imputed when there is no law" so why would we need to repent if sin isn't imputed to us? All we need to do is believe and have faith. In the dispensation of Grace the object of our faith is Christ's death and ressurection. That is our focus now, not of works such as repentance. We are totally forgiven of ALL our trespasses by the shed blood of Christ. Who am I to think that he didn't do it right and I need to do something more?

Beautiful reply, 2GB! It seems LWH is on a mission to tackle any newbies who post positive comments about Les Feldick and his Grace + Nothing teaching. You aren't the first one to be hit with the same long paragraph re: repentance (which appears to continuously be copied and recopied by LWH for the next "victim.") ;-) I sure do miss seeing the Les Bible studies every M-F... relocated in May and am not able to get him here. ;-(

Thanks Abbagail. I am new to watching Les Feldick and this website, but not new to the Grace message. I'm located on the west coast and am pleased to have discovered his program on television through Direct TV. I'm sorry you are unable to watch any longer. Be sure to continue your study and grow in the word. He does have a website with study materials available to study on your own or have a study in your home.

We don't put les on a pedestal, it's just rare to see someone on tv that really preaches from the word of God and doesn't use Israel's promises as a way to get money. Les and Richard Jordan are the only one's on television today that preaches the word rightly divided. How can you not get excited about that. Every day after I heard the grace message from Les has been better than the next. Grace motivates you in a way that the law never could.
